911SC no doubt. I wouldn’t even look twice at the Skyline.

GTR

911 SC, that GT-R has too many Rice Krispies.

It’s a tough one, but personally the Skyline appeals to me more. The 911 doesn’t really strike me as a distinctive 911. If it’s a Turbo/Turbo l00k-alike, then yes.

911, it’s apocalypse proof-er than the Skyline.

Hands down, 911.

911. Won’t have to deal with the attention and I love 911s.

Since I’m getting an SC myself and well... not a GTR, I would go for the SC :)
Keep in mind, the GTR is not exactly fun to drive nor, is it that fast... The SC is slower, sure, but it’s also a lot more fun to drive.

I would try to find an unmolested last-gen Supra over either of those cars. Did they make a LHD version of the GT-R? I drove a RHD E-Type here in US America once and realized I could not do RHD on a DD. If no LHD GT-R, then I’d be forced into the Porsche, which has some of the worst handling characteristics I’ve ever experienced.

Also, if you say GT-R, I would also ask, did you grow up playing Gran Turismo?
:)

No, RHD only. Some people have done some LHD conversion, but it’s VERY hard to do it properly. Basically, when inverted, the brake lines gets too close from the turbo and overheats, making the car dangerous to drive. Since everything is very tight in there, it’s also difficult to move the entire braking system elsewhere.
So, avoid LHD conversion of GTR... Also, driving a RHD car is just a matter of time before you’re used to it. If you were to just test drive a car for an hour or so, it’s normal that you don’t feel confortable immediatly. It takes a few days to really get used to...

SC. Though I think I’d like to drive the skyline more the SC will return value and still be great.

Skyline, if only because I live in Australia and parts are cheap here.

R32

911. The Skyline would be easier to deal with for everything apart from driving on the wrong side.

I would normally say SC, yet I’ve been reading too many of Kats posts and want some crazy JDM machine.

Dear Sir, you need to find a properly set up PORSCHE car to satisfy your wishes and desires. Then, you’ll be in LOVE, instantaneously. Guaranteed ;- )
Perhaps a one like this GREAT driver you would enjoy, no doubt!

What would be your primary purpose ownig either machine? As my dear friend says, “Ideally, you ought to have a big enough garage filled with cars, each being the best for a given purpose.” Pretty smart way to look at it, if you have the means. Otherwise, select the one you’ll enjoy the most, most of the time.

One of the cars I’ll consider should I ever need one - highly unlikely - would be a Boxster. Drove an early 2000s one, and it was so well-balanced.

Good chice, indeed. Just serviced and put new tires on my wife’s cherished one. The next best to it’s true predecessor, the 904 GTS, I like to think, obviously... ;- )
